Red - colour of love

Sometimes its nice to add a bit of colour to your dull winter outfits.
I decided to put these items together simply because my clothes have been very dark and dull lately and with this red beanie it certainly makes it bright and the sun was shining for an hour or so, typical British weather.
May i just tell you that I'm so in love with these boots from boohoo, they are so pretty i just cant stop wearing them.

Cleaning makeup brushes

So did you know that you should clean your makeup brushs as bits of make up, dirt, oil and even bacteria can be trapped in the bristles of the brushes? Using them dirty can lead to clogged pores and even spots! Eww!
It's pretty easy and cheap to clean them, I was spending a lot of money on brush cleaners every month, I do my makeup nearly everyday so imagine all that money I was spending.
After trying a lot of home products to clean your brushes I finally found the best one, Baby Shampoo,  it leaves the bristles feeling super soft and clean.

What you will need:

  • A sink
  • Baby Shampoo
  • A towel

  1. Start by running your brush under warm water, try and just get the bristles wet and not the handle.
  2. Take your baby shampoo and put a pea sized amount onto the palm of your hand.
  3. Take the brush and in circular motion rub the brush into the baby shampoo, keep doing this on the palm of your hand, you will see the dirt of the brush coming off, do it until you think the brush is clean.
  4. Now take the brush and run it under the tap again until all the shampoo is gone.
  5. Squeeze any excess water of the brush and place it on to the towel and leave it to dry, the brushes will take a few hours to dry so make sure you've applied your make up for that day.
Once your brushes are dry you will notice that they feel super soft and it looks brand new again, and may I just mention that the shampoo will also leave your hands super soft.

Hope this post helps you, please so leave a comment below and let me know if you've tried it out and if it helped.

Pull Bear faux fur coat

This week's Lust and Must, I'm so into Faux Fur at the moment that I just had to do a post.
So I feel in love with this Stella McCartney coat, but at £1,260 is a little much for me, but not to worry I found another coat just as nice for only £50 is that a bargain or what?!
Let me know which you prefer.
