Madia & Matilda SS15

Madia & Matilda are a luxury clothing label that specialize in upcycled and substainable fabrics.
They have some elegant vintage pieces, created by the lovely Shalize Nicholas.
I was fortunate enough to attend their SS15 runway show, where they showcased some of their fabulous clothes. The event was at this cute little cafe in Stroud where everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

These are only a few of the photos from the event, but do check out their website where you can find many more of beautiful clothing.

bloody orange

I got the chance to work with *Scent City and test one of their perfumes.
When I received the perfume I was jumping with excitement, all because the bottle looks like a cupcake, its so cute I wanted to eat it.
I always believe that its impossible to review a perfume unless you have used it a few times in decent quantity, I literally have to spray it on my neck, chest, wrists and clothes, yes I always go over the top with it, but I will know what I think of scent by doing it.
Smelling the perfume I instantly thought it is perfect for this season, its very fresh and light, it has an appealing fragrance of citrus with a hint of vanilla and amber, it smells amazingly sweet.
My immediate impression was that this fragrance was composed with a very high percentage of natural ingredients, so I immediately read the components.
Orange, lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, carrot, cyclamen, lotus, jasmine, cumin, saffron, cinnamon, amber, cedar, patchouli, caramel, vanilla and white musk. It all comes together seamlessly, and for £40 what more could you ask for?
The citrus smell is prominent at first but after a few hours and you get that beautiful soft, rich smell of amber afterwards.
This fragrance is perfect for an everyday fragrance, whether your meeting friends for lunch or going out on a romantic date.
I highly recommend this fragrance, they also have 4 others in the series of Alice & Peter range and its available on request, do go and check out Scent City they specialise in retail of perfume and luxury home fragrances and see what other smellies they have, you never know you might just find a new favourite perfume.

wide trousers

Hi guys I'm back!
I haven't blogged for over 1 month, that is because my laptop broke and so did my camera!
I've got my laptop back but as a camera I'm using my trusty Iphone.
Today's post is an outfit post, its summery and suitable for an everyday outfit or even a festival because we know there are a lot of them coming up.
I am loving these black chiffon trousers with lace stripes down the sides from H&M, I paired it up with a beautiful white bralet from Topshop and of course my favourite shoes from River Island.

The sun is shining

Aahhh the sun is finally out and it's not cold!!! If you live in the UK you will get excited to see the sun out!
I am obsessed with mom jeans at the moment and when I walked into New Look and saw these for £7 I was like Whaattt... I had to have them, they were just plain mom jeans I decided to rip them my self, using some scissors and a piece of cardboard, it was pretty easy to do.
I am also obsessed with these beautiful sandals from River island they are my favourite at this very moment, they are very easy to walk in and they take me right back to my childhood, I had them in like 4 different colours back then.

Beautiful overnight

Today I am sharing with you guys some of my favourite overnight beauty secrets.
The best part of all of this, is that all the magic happens while you snooze away, that's what I call beauty sleep.

1. Soft feet
Apply an oily moisturising cream all over your feet, then apply socks on and keep them on over night.
If you are like me and hate sleeping with socks on, you can always cut the toes of the socks so your feet can breath. In the morning your feet will be super soft and all you will need then is a pair of some beautiful shoes that shows your feet off.

2. Plumper skin
If you live in a dry climate, sleep with a humidifier running through the night, this will help add moisture and freshen your skin while you sleep.

3. Puffy eyes
If you feel like every morning you wake up with puffy eye, add an extra pillow when going to sleep and also sleep on your back.
This helps fluids around your eyes to drain easier and keep puffiness down.

4. Soft lips
If you suffer with dry chapped lips, exfoliate them before bed using a lip scrub or you could use your toothbrush, brushing your lips gently before bed, then apply your favourite lip balm.
When you wake up your lips will be soft, soft, soft.

5. No more flat hair
If you are like me and hate waking up in the morning with flat hair then you should follow this tip.
Wash your hair before going to bed, then spray a volumizing product onto your damp roots or even hair moose and comb through. Blowdry it using a round brush to build volume and then go and get your beauty sleep.
When you wake up your hair should be less flat than it usually is, you can then style it as you want it.

Back to the 90's

Let me just start by telling you how amazing and incredibly talented the pothographer Shelley  who took these photos is, she is a German fashion pothographer living in the UK.
When my sister showed me her work I was amazed, she then introduced us and we started speaking, Shelley agreed to take these photos for the blog, I was jumping with excitement and couldn't wait to do it.
When we meet it was a horrible day, the rain was pouring, it was a little cold and I couldn't feel my fingers or toes, but somehow she managed to snap some amazing photos, how I really don't know.
She's very unique and creative, do go and check out her work here and also give her facebook page a like here.
Now onto the outfit, I am so glad that MOM jeans have comeback, every time I walked past River Island and seen these amazing MOM jeans I would literally stop and stare I really needed them in my wardrobe but I had to wait until payday and when payday arrived I went straight in there to buy them. Guess what they didn't have my size, how annoying! I loved them so much that I ended up getting the last pair which is one size bigger. These jeans are perfect for most body shapes as they are not too skinny or too baggy and you can paired them up with almost anything. I wore them with a Topshop over sized cropped jumper, River Island white strappy gladiators which I also adore and a bowler hat from H&M.

So in love

So in love

Let me just start by saying that Spring is finally here (yay) about time aswell, it feels like I have been waiting for this season to arrive forever! Goodbye cold dull winter days and hello spring! All those pretty flowers starting to blossom! I do love this season!
The pastel trend for SS14 is one of my favourites aswell as all whites. I love the pastel trend because whatever your skin colour there will always be a pastel that will suit you, bring out your skin tone and make you feel younger and more girly!
Do you love this trend? If yes comment below and let me know why.

A little pink makes the boys wink

So the weather has been so lovely for the past week, you can tell Spring is arriving...exciting! I love shopping in Internationale so when I walked in there last week I spotted these shorts/skirt (skort) and I fell in love with the pretty pastel pink colour that I just had to have them!
I'm usually a cold person, so I didn't want to just wear a skort and a little top just incase, I paired these up wih some Primark tights, H&M monochrome jumper and my fav boots which are from Boohoo.
